If you look at the map in the previous article
There is a little plus sign you might see on your cursor if you are on a computer or other media and the cursor is over the map. If you click with the plus sign over by where the lava is entering the ocean you can see quite clearly where the old coastline used to be. After you magnify a certain area you can also click it again to return it to normal size too and then magnify another area you want to study. For me, this is amazing because I lived in Hilo nearby here in 1974 and I last visited the Island in January 2015 while snorkeling on Kona side. We also visited Pahoa and my friends I was snorkeling with played a concert for people in Hilo while we were there too.
