Everitte Memorial Highway up from the City of Mt. Shasta past the High School and Armory on up the mountain is paved all the way to where the old Ski Bowl was still around 1970 when I was up here a lot then. I wound up driving up twice, once with friends to hike over to panther meadows spring which is still running when the spring comes out of the ground in Upper Panther Meadows.
Then after dinner my wife and I decided to go up to where the Old Ski Bowl is to watch the sunset. It is pretty interesting because as we drove up the sun was setting over Mt. Eddy already but because we were ascending in altitude up to about 8000 feet or more we got to see several sunsets along the way and then see a final sunset from the Old Ski Bowl Area which was great too.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
