two important symptoms to remember about a Potassium overdose:

The first bad symptom can be cardio fibrillation or more specifically Atrial Fibrillation.

The next bad symptom can be a heart attack.

If you have to take potassium because you are taking Lasix which is a strong diuretic it's important to know that if you don't get enough potassium you could die within a couple of weeks time.

However, if you are getting too much potassium you could have cardio fibrillation of various kinds or a heart attack.

How do you prevent these problems from happening?

By getting regular blood tests to make sure your potassium levels are not to high or too low. Both of these events (high or low) could become fatal if not caught in time.

So, the only way I know to prevent these problems occurring is blood tests every week or two.

Unfortunately I had to learn all this the hard way because I accidentally went into what I might call Potassium poisoning but it is more commonly called "Potassium overdose" accidentally.

Whenever I learn something medically that saves my life often I want to share it so others don't have to suffer like I have regarding all this.

By God's Grace
