One of the most ancient ways of looking at things for humanity was and IS Animism
Now I can give you my definition of Animism but after that I should likely give you a textbook definition too.
I have a bias here because I tend to be an animist myself which means to me that I see everything in life as being alive in some form.
For example, I see the air as alive and water as alive and the earth as alive and of course like you animals and trees and fish alive but also the houses we live in alive and the walls alive and chairs alive and tables and couches alive too.
This is my experience as an intuitive.
And even things mankind build are alive too like Cars and planes and trains and boats and ships etc.
Because I studied with Native American Medicine men especially during the 1980s when I also studied with Tibetan Lamas in the U.S. and India and Nepal I also see everything as being alive from this point of view too.
This was brought back very starkly for me as I watched: Avatar: The way of Water (2022) when I streamed it and bought a digital copy of it for streaming.
If you study the Eywa in the Avatar series(so far two are out) you see this way of looking at things all being alive together in one context in one reality.
So, as an intuitive all life in the universe are my family. We all are related to the stars and the planets and the different types of life alive on all these places and things and beings throughout our universe.
Since we are all family together we need to take care of each other in any way we can.
By God's Grace
