I have always experienced Earth, water, air, fire, people ,mountains, Animals, rocks, trees, plants (literally everything on earth or in space as being alive always. This is not about learning about this in books it is about experiencing the truth of literally everything being alive and deserving our love, compassion and respect as living things.
So, the Galaxy is alive. Stars are alive, Nebulas are alive, planets are alive and humans are sort of like red blood cells or white blood cells of earth and an integral part of planet earth and the solar system and beyond too.
