Geomagnetic pole Reversal or excursion is another reason for Global Warming and climate change

Most scientists now believe we are in either an excursion (where the poles move all over for a while before they settle back to normal with north where it is and south where it is (pretty much) (within 1000 years). OR

we are in a Geomagnetic Pole Reversal which takes up to 10,000 years to do where North Becomes South pole of the magnet and South becomes the North pole of the magneto Earth. It seems to me that some or all or most of the properties we take for granted now regarding electricity will change in some way, shape or forms during these times if this is true.

From my point of view the real problems of either an excursion or a pole reversal is genetic mutation of anything that lives on the surface of the earth or that flies or lives above about 50 feet deep in the ocean. Things that live under 10 feet of earth also would be okay and not subject to genetic mutation.

Why?

During and excursion or a geomagnetic reversal the Magnetosphere (like now) doesn't protect us from cosmic rays. So, we have been bombarded by cosmic rays a lot since around 2000 AD over various areas of the planet because of holes in our magnetosphere. The worst cases of zero to 10% of normal magnetosphere is near the poles usually and these holes can move around also.

Nov 30, 2011 - Scientists understand that Earth's magnetic field has flipped its polarity many times over the millennia. In other words, if you were alive about 800,000 years ago, and facing what we call north with a magnetic compass in your hand, the needle would point to 'south.' This is because a magnetic compass is ...

Jump to Geomagnetic polarity time scale - Further information: Magnetostratigraphy. Through analysis of seafloor magnetic anomalies and dating of reversal sequences on land, paleomagnetists have been developing a Geomagnetic Polarity Time Scale (GPTS). The current time scale contains 184 polarity intervals in ...
