- For me, I don't look at it this way. I think: "What do I enjoy that gives me exercise because exercise keeps me alive and able to ski and hike and snorkel and travel the world like I love to do.When you frame it this way: "I love to exercise my dogs in the forest or on the beach." or I love to ride my mountain bike or I love to watch news while working out walking on my treadmill while I watch the news. Or I love to lift weights to strengthen my upper body and legs so I don't have to worry about a torn rotator cuff. I lift weights above my head to strengthen all parts of my upper body and legs.So, if you just think of it as exercise you are not going to do it but if you think of it as fun like I do (because I loved to ride my bike and climb and walk through the forests and beaches exploring as a kid and I still do today!)hbr
