After all, the U.S. is a young and foolish nation, isn't it?
Of course, this is from a nation that has somehow held itself together on on level or another for around 6000 years already. So, to China, the U.S. is a foolish "Johnny come lately". So, when we began economic diplomacy with China to avoid a nuclear war with them with Nixon and Kissinger they really didn't know what to expect from us. "By relying on "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu in relation to business with the U.S. "In other words 'Business is WAR' you see where all this got the U.S. in the end.
Is China ruthless? Is America Foolish to trust China economically? The problem is that both Countries might as well be other planets so different at a core are what shaped both countries not only the last 6000 years but also the last 300 years.
China has always been "Top down" sort of like a Pyramid scheme. In other words "IT doesn't really matter what happens to the poorest of the Chinese (it never has) from a Chinese point of view. As long as the middle Class and the upper class of China are okay that's all that matters. And sometimes it only matters when the rich are okay, (like NOW).
Whereas, the U.S. has always been a Grass Roots "from rags to riches nation" from the very beginning. WE are tough in an entirely different way than China has always been.
Is there a way for the U.S. and China to get along economically and militarily?
That remains to be seen.
The problem is: "Trump has started something he can't finish."
And China and the U.S. the next 100 or more years just might be in for it because of what Trump has started but cannot finish now. Because even if he stays in the Next 6 years time he has now pissed off not only the poorer classes of China but also the Middle Class Chinese and the Rich Class Chinese as well. And it's never a good idea to piss off 1.4 billion people is it?
And he has also pissed off American Farmers and American companies like GM that are laying off workers right and left now because Trump cannot solve the problem that he has started with China, economically or militarily.
Is it true that China never played fair with the U.S. or the world: Yes?
Has the U.S. ever truly played fair economically with the world: "Likely NO!"
The U.S. likes to appear to play fair. But China has been around too long to act like it's ever playing fair with the world.
China is the most ethnocentric nation on earth. To them, they are the ONLY Culture on earth that matters.
So, it doesn't really matter what the U.S. wants (from a Chinese point of view)
And Ethnocentrism in both China and the U.S. is what we are really dealing with.
We are two different planets in search of commonality.
But there is an old saying:
"East is east and west is west and never the twain shall meet."
Unfortunately, this is still truer than most of us want to believe.
And this is why we are at war (at least economically and culturally with China in many ways).
And like I said before: "It isn't a good idea to piss off 1.4 billion people" Is it?
So, what is the solution?
I don't think Trump actually has one.
And this is the real problem in a nutshell here.
Trump thought the problem was one thing (but it's really 10 to 1000 others).
And that's the problem.
YOU cannot go after a nation not based upon a similar background of events the way Trump has. Because if you do the result isn't going to be what ANYONE wants.
And that is the problem now of the 21st century we all are facing now.
Trump is facing all this as if this were Europe (In world war I or in World War II).
But, that's not real!
A plus B does not equal C
In other words, Trump actually has no idea what culture he is actually dealing with here.
And the Chinese have no idea who or what they are dealing with either. Because Trump is just a blowhard in the end, who starts things he never finishes.
Trump doesn't think things through enough to create anything positive with China that is going to work.
Trump has created a very serious problem here that a whole series of Presidents in China and the U.S. are going to have to solve or planet earth is going to be a 2nd Asteroid belt like the other planet our ancestors nuked out of existence 65 million years ago out past Mars.
