Why?
Because if you are all panicky around death you tend to die more quickly than if you accept it's going to happen eventually and are okay with all that.
I've found that panicking over about 40 or 50 is a sure way to die, for example. But, it's also true that we all have different health concerns both genetically, where and when we were born, what we have eaten all our lives, where we have lived and what we have done all our lives and what we have thought about all our lives as well.
So, there are all these variables we all deal with sort of like being dealt a hand at cards or something.
But, the one universal thing I have found is you just have to find a way to stop panicking by about 40 or 50 or that is often what takes you out all by itself.
Acceptance that you are going to die and being okay with that is helpful in living to 100 or even 120 or beyond that. Why?
Because when you accept something you are less likely to panic and suddenly end your life by not thinking straight when you are panicking.
What often saves us in difficult health situations is the ability to stay calm and orderly in one's thoughts so we can surround us with healers of various kinds when we most need them to survive even one more day here on earth.
