The existence of ALL Governments on earth is threatened by the Islamic State

 Transitions and Breaking Precedents here on Earth

I think this is why the U.S. got the go ahead from so many nations to start doing away with the Islamic state and sending them back to terrorist status away from being an army with a state which is an instrument of the beheading of thousands and thousands of people (especially this summer) throughout Iraq and Syria.

Though it could be said that the success of ISIS, ISIL and the Islamic State came directly from the actions of Russia and Iran and Assad the last 4 years, still the Islamic state is a threat to ALL world Governments.

So, there likely isn't much disagreement regarding this among peoples unless they live in primarily Sunni Countries. And even there most people are horrified by the prospect of hundreds of thousands of beheaded and starving to death and displaced people and raped women, women sold as slaves and the same with their children and all their possessions and lands usurped by the Islamic state which has already turned ISIS and ISIL into a standing army with missiles and armored vehicles that are being blown up one by one by U.S. drones and fighter jets missiles.

So, literally EVERY government on earth will support the destruction of the ISLAMIC STATE even though about 10 to 11 million Sunnis will be very upset about this.

Mostly, this is because it is not the 6th to 14th centuries anymore and human sensibilities about beheading people and stealing their women and children has changed a lot here on earth since then.

Civility (at least since the 2nd world War ended) has taken it's place. having lost about 100 million people (mostly civilians) to the 2nd world War the world sort of wised up a lot and put civility and police states in place to prevent that sort of thing from happening ever again.

However, unfortunately police states are only useful against terrorists and not very much against civil rights activists even though the police don't seem to be able to separate the two very well yet.

So, this is all a work in progress.

So, which is going to win out in the end? Beheadings, rape and selling women and children as sex slaves and stealing people's lands and properties they have owned for thousands of years?
Or are todays more civil governments going to prevail?

If history is any judge we are going to see a whole lot more of both before it moves on to something else so far unknown by history.
