The Yazidis at 122 degrees Fahrenheit

If you can imagine a group of 40,000 people living without sleeping bags or water or food for a week in temperatures like this on top of a mountain with no shelter or hope for awhile is is not surprising that at least 100 died before any help came. The people who would tend to die in this would be the very old and the very young which is what happened. One young man reported his two baby siblings had died during this 1 weeks time of Islamic state fighters snipers shooting at them when they could while they were defended by Peshmerga soldiers fighting back and keeping the slowly dying group of 40,000 people alive until help came from U.S. fighter jets and corridors on land could be created from some of them strong enough to walk out of there and others to fly in with helicopters and rescue some of them too weak to walk out or those too weak and too traumatized to walk out while under fire from a distance.

Though this group of people is more adapted to 122 degrees Fahrenheit possibly without air conditioning in this area of the world, they still aren't adapted to being without shelter, water, food etc. while people are actively trying to kill them. Even people used to 122 degrees in their culture in Northern Iraq cannot survive ongoing under these conditions for very long.
