As long as we don't nuke earth out of existence:

I see a potential future for the human race that might span millions of years both here on earth and beyond.

People think the world needs to end now. However, that just means to me that their imaginations might be limited from being abused as children or young adults. So, mostly when people say the world needs to end right now it is because they have been abused in their lives and it comes out as people saying things or doing things like this.

IF  your life has been decent enough you want a nice place for your kids to live and theirs and theirs without ending and so you will help create such a place even if it doesn't exist right now where you live.

So, as long as we don't completely destroy the earth so no human or animal or bird can live on it anymore, there is hope for millions of years of future humans both here and throughout the universe.
