My wife and I consider John Andre as probably the most developed and interesting Character on "Turn". He is the British Master Spy working against the Americans during the revolutionary war.
He is the character you love to hate because he is just so devious in so many ways. However, I was wondering what you think about Peggy Shippen the woman in Philadelphia who falls in love with him and who is rich and quite a catch for anyone at the time. Is he really going to marry her or is he instead just using her? This is an interesting question because this is a man who is handsome in the extreme but also not rich just devious in a variety of ways. So, if he were rich and he seems to love her will he marry her if he turns Benedict Arnold? Don't tell me if you know the answer because I haven't seen the last few episodes of this season yet. But, this series is a fascinating one if you like to study the psychology and history of our country and how it came to be.
Without France becoming an ally of the U.S. at the right time and without King George being a Crazy nut job of a King likely the U.S. couldn't exist today at all as a free nation, even though at this point Great Britain is very proud of her colonies and how well they have done for themselves. Especially, during World War I and II in their alliance with England.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
