Nationalism is no longer practical in a nuclear and Internet Age

Though I shudder at a One World Government in some ways we already have this in the United Nations. It doesn't work very well but if you study history of what life was like on earth before it existed you can look at World War I and II and see what happens without something like the United Nations at all.

Nationalism leads to wars because of ethnocentrism. And who are the most ethnocentric nations on earth? They are the largest where people in the middle of those nations can isolate themselves from the world. The very worst right now is China, because their Internet is so censored by their government that people there, (most of them) have no idea at all what is going on in the world outside of their own nation. This to some degree is true of Russia as well but less so, and to a lesser degree this is also true of the U.S.

However, these three nations each have enough nuclear weapons to blow up the world many times each.

So, my premise has to be that nationalism (the way it presently is on earth) will only lead to the annihilation of all life on earth.

Understanding this and accepting this basic premise is a good place to start.

So, though nationalism is suicidal for life on earth, regionalism is necessary for different regions to have pride in their area and their accomplishments as a people.

So, understanding that nationalism itself will tend to cause the extinction of all life on earth might be a good place to start in your studies about how to keep the earth a planet and not look like the asteroid Belt which also was once a planet likely with our ancestors upon it.

Did Nationalism and Ethnocentrism cause a nuclear accident during warfare on the planet that is now the asteroid belt 65 million years ago?

Quite likely.

Here is my past life memory of this event:
