Why Education Worldwide is so important

I was listening to Malala talk about the 60 million or so kids worldwide that can't get an education at present. (She was shot in the face in Pakistan by the taliban for advocating education but recovered). She is now 17 and travels the world representing the Malala foundation supporting worldwide education for children.

I was thinking about why education is so important.

The first reason is so people understand the value of family planning and birth control so everyone on earth doesn't have to die from overpopulation. The second reason education is important is to see that Global Climate change is beginning to kill poorer people from droughts and floods and ocean levels rising etc. all over the earth.

And it is good to know that overpopulation and misuse of resources are the main reasons global climate change is happening at all.

Though on one level it is depressing to know about all this as an educated person, at the same time it is sort of like watching a train or truck come towards you and being aware you somehow have to get out of the way of it or you are going to die too from it like many who don't see it will.

So, being able to see the truth of the world will help save many or most lives on earth in the short and the long run.

So, education will make possible the human race to survive here on earth the next 1000 to 10,000 or more years if enough get a good education and understand what to do to keep the earth alive.

And Family planning and birth control and how overpopulation contributes to Global Climate change that could eventually kill all of us in a Mad Max Scenario unless we learn to protect our resources so some of us can live on into the future as well as their children's children's children's children.

Watching "Mad Max 2015" the other night I thought that I didn't want this to be everyone's future who survives here on earth. So, it is completely up to you and I so it doesn't turn out like this.

The Middle East (at least ISIS) already reminds me of the craziest people in the Mad Max series who chose to die in battle to go to heaven.

What is happening in Syria, Iraq through ISIS is like watching Mad Max in action here on earth. And it will be like this not only throughout the Middle East but also throughout Africa soon unless enough people find a way to stop it.

So, if you are worried about Mad Max, it has already started in the middle east caused by a lack of resources and overpopulation and a lack of water and tillable land.

Education is the only way to save planet earth at present.
