Iran nuclear deal is similar to Soviet-U.S. nuclear deals in the past

Even though Iran likely will not honor this agreement it likely will slow them down enough to avoid a war with the U.S. and Europe. I'm not sure, however, that a war with Israel can be avoided and they are already de facto at war with all Sunni nations through the proxy war in Syria, Iraq and Yemen already. So, I'm not sure the Iran nuclear deal will change much of anything regarding Syria, Iraq or Yemen.

So, the main reason for ratifying this agreement is to prevent a nuclear war with Russia and or Iran.

In some ways Iran is an extension of Russia in the way all this plays out. Both Russia and Iran want to eliminate all Sunnis on earth or to contain them (one or the other). And so they are aligned in this point of view.

Because of this this agreement was a necessary part of avoiding a nuclear war with Russia and/or Iran.

So, this is why this agreement reminds me a lot of arms agreements we had with the Soviets in the past.

All these agreements tend to prevent nuclear wars from occurring to a greater or lesser degree and this is why this agreement is necessary in order to keep earth from being nuked out of existence one day.

However, this will not prevent Saudi Arabia and other Sunni nations wiping out all Shiites they find or it doesn't stop Iran from potentially nuking Saudi Arabia or other countries in the process.

What it does do is to prevent a nuclear war between Russia and the U.S. and Iran and the U.S. and so it makes people in Europe and the U.S. safer but not Israel, Saudi Arabia, other Sunni Countries or Iran or Yemen or Syria or Iraq.

So, in the end this does nothing to protect Israel or any of these countries from Iran. So, the likelihood is the map of the Middle East is going to drastically change in the next 20 years or more whether Iran fulfills it's promises or not to this agreement.
