The useful answer would be "Maybe" or "Yes" if Trump was elected President. Though this might be a complete disaster for the world and create a world war or many collapses within the poorest 50% of nations on earth, it also might be the only way to save America Economically. However, if you save America and let the world collapse "What do you have?"
But, it is true the U.S. can no longer financially afford to police the whole world because our middle Class which makes our system work is dying. It is easy now to find former middle Class people writing articles on social media of what happened to them as 63,000 factories closed and either moved overseas or just closed and everyone lost their middle class jobs.
So, if the middle class keeps getting gutted the U.S. can no longer be the world's policeman unless the world is going to pay us to have our soldiers save them like mercenaries often do. And even then, is that what we want to be doing?
