Where guns are restricted in the U.S. only criminals then have guns. And just like France and Belgium it is where the most people are going to die from guns. IN France and Belgium it is from ISIS. In Chicago it is from criminals.
But, at core what is driving these deaths?
I would have to say the lack of good jobs available to African Americans in the Chicago Ghetto likely is driving these deaths more than any other one factor other than guns are legally restricted so law abiding citizens cannot defend themselves in these areas. When only criminals have guns everyone suffers because law abiding citizens cannot defend themselves.
People say, "Oh. Only the police need weapons."
"Nope. By the time police get there people are dead already. Doesn't work anywhere worldwide."
Reality Trumps Fantasy.
If you watch "Hell or High Water" which is a true story you see how things are done Texas style.
IS this better?
I don't know but at least people don't get massacred because they shoot back.
So, less people die in attacks.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
