Vladimir Putin says that DNC hack was service to American public, but denies any role

Putin would be able to manipulate someone like Trump through Trump's ego and through money. Why wouldn't Putin want Trump instead of Clinton who he hates because he cannot control her? Trump is not strong because of his narcissistic personality disorder, he is only sociopathic and possibly at times psychopathic too. Putin knows he could control Trump enough so Putin could take over Europe from the EU which is what he wants to do. He likely would buy the EU from Trump since Trump's investments cannot be put in a blind trust the way they are set up and organized. A Blind Trust is what every American President has done with his assets but Trump's assets cannot be done that way. So, what happens if Trump becomes president? Likely Trump just becomes much richer by being President and that's all.

Russian President Vladimir Putin says that he knows nothing about the hack of Democratic National Committee emails, but that it was a public service.
“Listen, does it even matter who hacked this data?,” the former KGB officer told Bloomberg in a wide-ranging interview. “The important thing is the content that was given to the public.”
Russian hackers are believed to be behind the breach that exposed thousands of emails from the DNC, including those that showed members’ favoring Hillary Clinton over nomination rival Bernie Sanders.
Their documents, published through WikiLeaks, ultimately led to the resignation of DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

The same group is thought to be responsible for hacks of the Clinton campaign and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
Putin told Bloomberg that his government had never ordered such operations on a state level, and said that there is “no need to distract” attention by wondering who carried out the attack.
The Russian government has been accused of trying to interfere in the upcoming U.S. elections, and a letter from Democratic Senate leader Harry Reid seen by the New York Times asks the FBI to investigate possible links to Donald Trump’s campaign.

Trump himself made headlines after the DNC hack by asking for Russia to hack Hillary Clinton, remarks that he called a joke but others said showed treasonous intentions.

Clinton has criticized the Republican for perceived friendliness towards the longtime leader of the U.S.’s former Cold War adversary, and continued tying the two together after Putin’s interview.
“Unsurprisingly, Putin has joined Trump in cheering foreign interference in the U.S. election that is clearly designed to inflict political damage on Hillary Clinton and Democrats,” her spokesman Jesse Lehrich told Bloomberg in a statement.
