Trump's Policies: "From Beneficence to Lifeboat Theory"

Why will Millions of people worldwide (and in the U.S.) starve and die under a Trump Administration?

Because Trump now has an attitude that is creating: "Only whites are going to survive well here in the U.S."

The U.S. in the 1950s was learning how to be more helpful and expanisive in thinking during and After World War II. But starting in the 1960s with people my generation traveling literally all over the world making friends with people, kindness from Americans became spread all over the world through non-profits, through individual kindnesses, through the Peace Core and even through VISTA which was like the Peace Core Here in the U.S.

However, Trump's poliicies are reversing (at least the government part of this equation) through Tariffs on China. (This might cause either a trade war or a real war with China when you combine this with questioning their one China policy).

Wanting to build up new nuclear weapons (a way to threaten North Korea) and other countries who are getting or trying to get nuclear weapons.

And other policies. The 10% tariff on China and all foreign goods not made in the U.S. sounds like a simplestic way to make things better for American workers. However, this will actually cause more harm than good both here in America and abroad everywhere.

Why?

Because what a 10% tariff actually means is everything will cost at least 10% more that is cheap now from other countries.

This in turn de facto means poor people in this country will have 10% less money to buy food and to rent homes with and to buy clothes for their children with.

So, who does it really help?

It might help factory workers to get minimum wage jobs at factories but if there are no unions to provide good paying jobs there will only be minimum wage jobs for workers who get these jobs.

So, it doesn't really help anyone in a good way because if you are on minimum wage you are likely going to need some help if you are raising a family from Federal or state sources anyway to actually survive. And if that help is not there you wind up working 2 or 3 jobs to support your family which just makes your kids latch key kids and more likely they will be unsupervised and get into trouble.

IN foreign countries this policy will mean less jobs and more starvation and since China is in it's own Great Recession now it could turn China into another Great Depression and through the entire Pacific Area nations in a Great Depression Too.

So, Trump's policies likely internationally will scare the hell out of everyone and cause millions more to starve whereas here in the U.S. more people will become poorer.

I suppose if one's goal was to thin out world population by 10 million more every year Trump's policies would actually make sense to the world.

But, in the end his policies because of their simplistic nature mostly help destroy civilization around the world and here at home.

And destroying the EPA and the Energy Department just means thousands to millions more deaths in the U.S. from air, water, and land and food poisoning here in the U.S.
