I think I agree with John Boehnor (ex Republican house leader"speaker of the House") when he says that the American people and health care institutions have had Obamacare too long. States have gotten used to it too. There is no way the Republicans can totally get rid of it without causing a catastrophe for Republicans in 2018 and 2020. However, Pence broke the tie to advance the Bill (whatever that means).
So, on one level almost anything is possible now.
But, my feeling is if the Republicans do the repeal and Replace bill they cut the throat of their party for 2018 and 2020 and they will just "Bleed out" as a party during this time. Too many Republicans are going to die from this bill and as the Republicans and Democrats bury their dead they are just going to "Flush" the Republican party "Temporarily or permanently" down the toilet for at least 5 years time.
Now that people are used to Obamacare now when you take it away so many people are going to die without it and this will be publicized unendingly in the press. This will be curtains for the Republicans. They won't survive all the deaths if they kill Obamacare.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
