How to keep your kids from being ignorant with money

• I learned about money young because I got a newspaper route on my bicycle delivering newspapers by age 10. By Age 12 I was making a dollar an hour on weekends digging ditches and trenches for houses being built. By age 15 I was working part time in a factory making sliding glass doors. By age 16 I was working for a camera company part time after High school making 3 times the minimum wage when I was 16 years old with a new driver's license delivering and picking up camera equipment after school and on weekends all over Los Angeles County in Southern California.

  There is learning to earn money and then there is learning the value of money and those are two different things. And Children need to learn both to be successful in life. And getting into debt reduces your capacity to have freedom in your life and this is a learned thing about money too. Large Student loan debts enslave people often to jobs they don't want to be working at for years sometimes and often prevent them from ever buying a house because the credit they need to buy a house has already been used up in the large student loan debt they are carrying.

  For example, even Barack Obama and Michelle Obama were paying off student loan debt into their late 40s from both of them becoming lawyers. So, even the last president of the United States and his wife were paying off student loan debts until he became president.
