Because it is often in municipal water. So, if you don't have a reverse osmosis tippet on your drinking water it won't be filtered out. So, for example, anyone HIV getting the flu could easily die if they have been infected with Cryptosporidium parasites. You see, Clorine and Flouride in water does NOT kill these parasites as they have become immune to them. So, let's say that you get these parasites in the summer o fall (when almost all municipal water sources are infected with Cryptosporidium parasites.) So, let's say you have them in your intestines and don't know it and then you get the flu and haven't had a flu shot.IF your immune system is compromised it increases your chances of death if you get the flu. Most people wouldn't know they are infected unless they know that it tends to be in all municipal water systems in summer or fall nationwide because NOTHING we put in water can any longer kill it without killing humans too. But,reverse osmosis tippets will filter them out of your drinking water (that comes from tap water).
