Patrilinial women like Christians, Muslims and Hindus were subjagated and forced to submit and often legally raped for thousands of years against their wills. So, it is very easy for me to say that all Patrilinial religions that gave women no choice in their lives at all are the primary cause of the #MeToo movement today.
Anyone who has actually studied history cannot deny this fact.
