The cause of the eventual collapse of the welfare state in the U.S. Canada and Europe will be mass migration combined with extreme increases in the cost of living.
My thought is that the main thing that could help with this would be a Free College education for all people in the free world.
I have noticed that anyone who gets at least a Bachelor's degree in college is so disciplined that they do much better in life simply because of the discipline it takes to get a bachelor's degree.
So, as the welfare state collapses first here in the U.S. then later in Canada and Europe there will be revolutions caused by these collapses which is inevitable.
One of the ways to prevent wars is to have welfare states in the first place.
But, surviving without welfare states, education as in a good college education paid for by the states is the best alternative. The discipline from finishing a college degree will make the world a much better place to live in for everyone than it would be otherwise.
