I mentioned before about living on Mt. Shasta on 2 1/2 acres when Mt. St. Helens
went off with my family there then. The climate got much colder in summers and throughout the year for several years and the sunsets were purple and green and blue a lot which you don't see much without volcanic particulates in the air in an atomized way circling the globe. Mt. St. Helens changed the climate colder to some degree worldwide for several years until most of the particulate matter finally came to earth in rain and snow storms worldwide. The type of eruption in Kilauea will also change climates wherever the particular matter goes especially in the Hawaiian islands likely making it colder for a few years time.
