Civility has been lost in not only the House but also in the Senate

The problem is: CIVILITY IS HOW OUR TWO PARTY SYSTEM WORKED SO LONG.

But now, civility is gone and I fear blood in the streets over the present Kavanaugh nomination if he is put into a lifetime office of a Supreme Court Judge. (Or it could also be a series of riots with people getting bloody or killed because of his rulings along with other Supreme court justices.

One could Blame Senator Harry Reid (now retired) in Nevada for this problem when he helped vote the nuclear option into place in the Senate in 2013, but actually the lack of civility has been growing likely since the 1960s to get to here. One could Also blame Republican Senator McConnell for upping the ante on the nuclear option to add Supreme court justices to the nuclear option to see how horrific the results are for our nation ongoing.

Here is another Senator well known for his lack of civility and who destroyed thousands of lives of Americans:

Joseph McCarthy - Wikipedia

Is another point where civility was lost in the "Communist Witch hunts" here in the U.S. that he started. He also used physical violence against any reporters he didn't like including trying to strangle one reporter which Richard Nixon stopped before police (or a coroner) needed to be called for the reporter.

So, as you can see just one Senator can damage thousands of lives like he did in the 1950s unnecessarily just because of his personal paranoias.

So, here we are here today with Trump in the place of Senator McCarthy as being the bully of almost anyone not agreeing with him (even in his own party). Maybe especially people in the White House and Congress are terrified of Trump like people under Hitler were terrified of him too.

How did we get here?

Likely in dribs and drabs over time. We slowly let civility in our country slide further and further away from us. The PTSD of 9-11 made everyone in the U.S. and world have various states of paranoia and PTSD from which all of us are still recovering. Then the PTSD of the destruction of our middle class wealth by the Great Recession caused by bad loans based upon nothing that banks were allowed to make which permanently stole the value of their houses from them (except for people wealthy enough to be invested in the stock market) who then saw their 6900 or so value then skyrocket until over 26,000 now or over 4 time the value of basic stocks.

If you look at all these factors you actually see how we got here but now we see it all led to either a trade war or a real war or something worse. Now, it might be too late to save our country from something much worse, a bloody revolution caused by the lack of civility for too long.

Without fairness, you cannot have a workable democracy. Without civility between parties you have only violence and nothing else ongoing.

So, if Kavanaugh gets in Roe Versus Wade will go away slowly or quickly in the U.S. I don't think that's fair to voters who want it to continue at a poll rate of 78%.

So, if Kavanaugh wins 22% of the American Voters are going to get their way?

That's not fair!

And without fairness Democracies cease to exist slowly or quickly! So, if Kavanaugh gets in look for the end of our democracy not to be very far away either. Because without fairness our democracy will quickly or slowly go away.
