A lady writer goes to Guernsey Island just after the end of World War II and finds
many things there she didn't expect to find. What had happened was the Germans bombed and took over the Isle of Guernsey for a time and many unexpected things happened. This is this lady writers adventure who is from London into getting to know the islanders who were still alive after the Germans left at the end of the War. My wife and older daughter and I loved watching this Netflix movie on Netflix.
