The National Hurricane Center has upgraded its hurricane watch to a warning for parts of the Florida Gulf Coast.The hurricane warning now extends from the Alabama-Florida border to the Suwannee River in Florida. From CNN's Hollie SilvermanA total of 1,250 members of the National Guard have been activated to assist with Hurricane Michael as the storm inches toward Florida.Florida Gov. Rick Scott, speaking at a news conference Monday, said 750 troops have been activated. They'll join the 500 troops, who were already working on storm preparations.Scott said there are still 4,000 troops available for deployment if needed.
