Amazing weather in Santa Barbara

It's presently 77 degrees out and sunny and there of course (all over California) is a little haze from all the fires burning but you cannot smell the smoke because it is either really high in the air or so dissipated in the air that there is no smoke smell this far south so it doesn't burn your eyes or lungs like it does up further north in the Sierras or east into Nevada or other states.

I found some roses blooming still. One bush of the yellow rose of Texas and some pink roses and some wild white rock roses which I believe all roses were hybrided out of a wild variety originally. So, many things are still in bloom here in the summer like Jacaranda and Bougan Villa too.

I believe the wild rock roses are what all the other roses are hybrided out of by the way.

Rock-rose is native to central and southern California and northern Baja California, below 4000 feet (1300 meters). It is most common on dry, sunny23 sandstone4 slopes and bluffs in coastal sage scrub and chaparral. In the Reserve, rock-rose is accessible from the Solana Hills trail and on the Santa Florencia overlook.

Jacaranda trees are often seen from about Santa Barbara south to San Diego too. And they are in Santa Barbara too all over the place.
