It's not that the democracies of the world are doing much better but to some degree they are simply because democracies are a more grass roots type of government and more responsive to the needs of their people's.
Whereas Russia and China are totalitarian states where the needs of the people are generally not addressed in any meaningful manner.
So, for example, the noise from China over Taiwan is mostly to distract the people of China from the real problems facing China which are extreme.
And since Russia is basically an economic disaster area of the world except for oil reserves it is important to understand that the War in Ukraine is mostly about distracting the Russian people from just how bad Covid and Global Climate changes are destroying Russia in every way imaginable.
So, when you look at Russia and China in this way you get a more realistic look at what disaster areas both Russia and China presently are and this by the way is likely to get much much worse over time.
However, this is NOT a good thing for Russia and China to be this destabilized because both Russia and China have advanced nuclear weapons which could go off in the lurch towards literally any other nation on earth including each other.
In other words things are presently so chaotic and confusing for the world that literally Russia and China could also nuke each other partially or fully out of existence and I wouldn't be surprised if this happened at all at this point.
So, Chaos is what the world is going through because of Covid and Global Climate changes and this likely is only the beginning of such problems for the world and things could get 50% to 100% worse within 10 years time regarding all this for a variety of real reasons.
