We were watching a movie about Lafayette Escadrille in France in World War I which was an American flying squadron fighting for the French before the U.S. entered World War I and the Ace when the other Americans arrived had this on his plane.
Though I had taken French I wasn't sure of this meaning and when I looked it up on Google Translate it translated directly to "I you All". This didn't make sense to me completely until my wife who is fluent in Spanish as well as English said, "I think this is what the 3 musketeers said: "Je vous Tout" and I have to agree with her because things often don't translate right (word for word) from one language to another.
So, basically this would mean in a looser translation "All for one and one for All" but in French it is more simple which word for word means "I you all" or "All for one and one for all".
The movie is called "Flyboys"(2006)
I was able to record it on HBO a few days or weeks ago and share it with my wife tonight. I thought it was really well done based upon a true story of Lafayette Escadrille in France in 1917.
