I found this paragraph at the top of Spaceweather.com

apparently AI is bringing a lot of false or twisted information online. And unless people are factually checking what they publish from AI and not just take it verbatum as fact the problem is likely going to get worse and worse over time. It's true that unless you actually have people fact checking information through a human being (and even that doesn't work if those human beings aren't fair in their assessments about things either) you don't wind up with things that are true and helpful to human survival on earth.

You can imagine what happens when AI drills down into a source that is corrupted factually and then uses this as a basis for whatever it is writing about.

Having at least one sane human being fact checking what is written is really helpful to long term survival of many or all human beings here on earth.

This is an AI Free Zone! Text created by Large Language Models is spreading rapidly across the Internet. It's well-written, artificial, frequently inaccurate. If you find a mistake on Spaceweather.com, rest assured it was made by a real human being.
