I drove up to the top of the Everitt Memorial Road which is paved up to about 8000 Feet today. There were not too many people up there today because it's not a weekend and not summertime any more. The temperatures were okay too around 62 degrees but in town it was then 79 degrees. Here is what Purple Lupin can look like on Mt. Shasta and other places too. IT really smells wonderful too. It was especially growing today at around Tree line (which means trees begin to stop growing at that altitude.) So, this was a wonderful experience that I shared with our Corgi who is Blue Merle Corgi with one blue eye and one eye that is brown and blue. She has been an amazing comfort to my wife and I since we got her as a puppy in 2020 just before Covid. She travels well so we drove up to Portland and Shasta with her on this trip north to see my Son and grandson. She loved smelling the smells and seeing the sights of 8000 feet high on mt. Shasta. However, this road can close anytime they get enough snow here from now to November 1st when it is an arranged date they close the road at Bunny Flat on Mt. Shasta which is at around 6900 feet in elevation there.
