Lyft will launch self-driving car rides by the end of this year

  1. This appears not to want to load so the point here if you can't bring this up some places around the world is that they expect to use self driving taxis with people in place that won't be touching the wheel or pedals except in a technical emergency. So, most if not all places in the U.S. they will not allow people being hauled around with no potential driver to save them in an emergency YET! They plan to start in Boston which is strange to me because Boston is known as one of the more contentious driving scenarios on the East Coast. So, how is this really going to work? In other words Bostonians have very unique driving habits compared to say "Los Angeles" or many other cities.
