end quote from Google:
My question has always been regarding the Bin Laden Assasination: "Was Bin Laden a Double Agent?"
And if I take this books account seriously the answer has to be "Maybe".
Here is my logic regarding this.
First, everyone knows who has studied this that Bin Laden was a CIA operative during the Afghanistan war between the Mujahedeen and the Soviet Union. And if you picture Osama Bin Laden with a hand held missile on his shoulder shooting down Soviet Helicopters and planes you actually get what actually happened there and why he became a folk hero in Afghanistan and Pakistan to the common people then. (See "Charlie Wilson's War" on DVD or stream it if you find it).
But then, Osama Bin Laden came to be associated with terrorism also against the U.S. and Europe in addition to CIA funded terrorism against the old Soviet Union. Though this is an inconvenient truth for the U.S. in regard to the New Russia still it is the truth in the end. So, then the question is: "When did Osama Bin Laden stop being a CIA operative? Or was he always a CIA double Agent?"
This is a question many people like myself have been wondering about for years now.
So, I guess my full question is: "Was Osama Bin Laden a CIA agent or both a CIA agent and a part of different military industrial complex companies who paid him to be a "Fund Raiser". A fund raiser is someone paid to be in the limelight in order to make money available for the manufacture of weapons worldwide.
The way Osama Bin Laden was killed according to the book above is logically right in line with what the U.S. government would be forced to do with an actual "fund raiser" at some point. You notice he was assasinated. There was no effort at all to capture or question him. A known double agent would be assasinated just like this. Only someone who knew things that COULD NOT BE KNOWN by anyone would be assasinated like he was. So, because of this it is quite possible that he was a double or even triple agent for multiple groups. Exactly who or what those groups were now will likely never be known. Also, this Seal might not have known about Osama Bin Laden shooting down Soviet aircraft or being a Mujahedeen in the 1980s either.
The following is theoretical (except Osama Bin Laden's military training by the CIA to kill Soviets and to bring down their helicopters and planes in the early 1980s) Watch "Charlie Wilson's War" with Tom Hanks(a true story) and watch the guys they give the missiles too. One of these missile guys WAS Osama Bin Laden.
So, if I theorize after watching the "The Bourne Legacy" what if before Jason Bourne who might have been "Assassin 10.0" we have Osama Bin Laden who likely was "Assassin 2.0" from the CIA and a Saudi Engineer (so he could engineer buildings like the World Trade Center or he could also know how to bomb them) from a multi-million dollar family who would have been very desirable for the U.S. to train then because he had both brains and guts and wanted to help the Afghanistan people and the Pakistani people against the Soviets. So, after the Soviets withdrew and that war ended the next part is really murky about what happened next and what Osama Bin Laden's loyalties went to. He had incredible training form the CIA and being a college educated Engineer from a very rich Saudi General Contractor as a father. What happened next? To me, the first part is crystal clear but what happened next? That is the 64,000 dollar question. So, was Osama Bin Laden a double or triple agent before his death? I don't think we will ever know. IF this was true All witnesses to this are likely now dead and assassinated by a variety of Western and Eastern Governments at this point if he was. Because that would be the only way to protect munitions companies in various countries around the world. Not only that, it would be the only way to protect various governments around the world from collapsing.
So, at this point, with thousands and thousands dead in various ways maybe it is better to let sleeping dogs lie.

I was watching a prime time news show in the late eighties. The story was about a CIA double agent who had gone rogue. His name was Osama Bin Laden. If memory serves me correctly it was Dianne Sawyer who interviewed a member of the CIA. In retrospect, she probably got the story because she was dating Charlie Wilson.
So, if you watch the movie "Charlie Wilson's War" you likely are watching an actor depicting Osama Bin Laden shoot down Soviet Helicopters and planes in real life.
