This is why in western developed countries it is more likely that Ebola could not spread easily. However, if over time in countries in Western Africa, Africa or the Middle East where many people aren't that familiar with medical discipline in emergencies, this continues to spread through uneducated people or people with touching traditions during sickness or death this likely could continue to spread. However, the real problem for the world is the longevity of this virus, because viruses often mutate. So, the longer this particular virus lives on in multiple hosts the more likely that it could, over time, mutate to something that might be carried through the air and become airborne in addition to fluid born only.
So, in the short run it might devastate uneducated people with unique cultural practices, but in the long run if it ever mutates to an airborne disease it could theoretically devastate the whole world as a pandemic. So, the longer this particular ebola virus has to mutate the bigger threat this could be to the world.
