If you click the blue or purple "here" above you can see this great interactive tool that NOAA has created. It allows you to have a north pole view or a south pole view or a side view of the whole thing. (The north pole and south pole view are buttons on the upper right side of the screen). You can also slide the year button to see what was happening in that year you want to look at too. I was pretty amazed by this interactive display in how much information it gives visually.
