Order versus Human Rights

To Understand what is going on with Russia right now you do have to understand their philosophy of the last at least 100 years or more.

It is not about Human rights to them it is about "ORDER".

So, from their point of view it is not about how many people live or die in Syria (or anywhere) it is about "Is Order acceptable to Russia being maintained". No other question is important to them really.

However, here in the U.S. we have had the luxury of believing in "Human Rights" as an ideal all over the world. Russia also considers "Human Rights" to be a luxury and not realistic in most of the world.

So, if there is a new Cold War it is between these two concepts.

Russia is angry at the U.S. because we are not following their sense of Order in regard to Assad staying in power in Syria. Their point of view is Assad must stay no matter what and no matter how many Sunni Muslims die in Syria.

The U.S. position is different. We don't want Assad to Genocide all 250,000 or 400,000 or however many Sunni Muslims are living and trapped in Aleppo right now.

But, Russia sees them as obstacles to Assad's hold on power there in Syria and of course from that point of view they all have to die.

This is a problem not only for the U.S. but also for the free world that does believe in human rights as a sacred right and duty to mankind.

So, this is where the U.S. and Russia stand right now.

It is a difference between "Order" and "Human Rights".
