Trump appears to have lost it

I don't think we ever have seen a candidate do what Trump is now doing. This is the epitome of white adult male privilege we are seeing in all it's most Victorian of abuses more common to the late 1800s or early 1900s transited to the 1950s and early 1960s where he is right no matter what anyone else says. This is white upper class elitist rugged individualistic thought to it's extreme. We might expect this kind of stubborness and determination in someone more like General Patton out of World war II. We don't often see something like this as unvarnished right here on TV with no holds barred like this. He is his own criteria and therefore the Hell with the Republican Party if they won't support him.

You don't know (as an American whether to hate him or to see him as someone like a Davey Crocket at the Alamo or like President Andrew Jackson) who was known to be somewhat like Trump too in this way in his directness and difficultness.

As Republican Politicians and rank and file Republicans run away from him others who have different sensibilities run towards him as if he was Hitler or something to lead them. So, there is an even more dangerous polarization happening now in the U.S. even though it is very unlikely he would even be elected for dogcatcher now for a city.

So, as Trump doubles down on Ryan (the leader of the Republican Party so far) and rips the whole Republican party a new one, one has to fear not only for the Republican party but also for our nation now without a two party system of Governance.

For Trump obviously now supports no one but himself and those who follow him and basically has said out loud basically "The Hell with anyone in the Republican party who doesn't support me no matter what".

De Facto what we now have is Trump running as an Independent as he bad mouths anyone (Republican or otherwise) who doesn't support whatever crazy things he says or does next.
