The Era of American Global Leadership is Over
If you read my quote of Ian Bremmer from the latest Time magazine you see him write about a leaderless world which is much different than what we have had since World War II.
What precipitated "A Leaderless World" that is now beginning with Trump?
I would have to say 9-11 precipitated a leaderless world more than any other single event.
Why?
Because 9-11 created a 6 trillion dollar reaction and we still have troops in Afghanistan and Iraq and Syria still 16 years later. This has precipitated a leaderless world because this 6 trllion dollars has bankrupted the U.S. for all intents and purposes and killed mostly the children of Trump voters who are the poor and lower middle class from little towns across America, especially in the Rust belts and in the south. So, Trump's voters (the 37%) core believers were saying "No more wars with our boys dying!" to Trump.
So, we are now as a direct result in a leaderless world which is much much more dangerous than any world we have lived in since 1945.
The people who will suffer the most from this will be in 3rd world nations around the world. They will die before their times from air, water, and food pollution and from starvation mostly.
On the other hand, can the U.S. continue to be the world leader?
Not unless the world decides to pay the U.S. to be world policeman and mercenary army. Otherwise, the U.S. is still military superpower but not anymore world leader. And nations will scramble now that they will realize this fully with Trump in power.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
