This is the kind of thing that makes people nervous who study the weather. Pileups of up to 50 cars in various states with people dying or being injured or getting possible frostbite waiting for cops and emergency personnel in their wrecked cars.
This reminds me also of the potential of an ice age when a Polar Vortex drops into 10 to 20 inches of rain that becomes 10 to 20 feet of snow across the country combined with ever increasing precipitation off the pacific caused by fast heating oceans worldwide. So, as the land cools (1 centigrade from cloud cover so far) and oceans heat up unbelievably from what they used to be you see this collision of dynamics for a potential ice age in a fluke like happening at some point in the next 200 to 300 years.
Yes. It hasn't happened yet. That's good.
Thank God!
Later: Snow also in Seattle and in Texas as well.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
