ON December 7th 1941 the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. Then like now the U.S. was completely isolationist in nature and didn't want to be a part of any war. But then, the Japanese bombed us and destroyed a few battleships and that was the end of U.S. isolationalist sentiment and the beginning of World War II. There is a lot of interesting information that FDR actually knew about the attack before it happened but didn't tell anyone because he knew we had to be a part of the war and knew the American people needed this for the U.S. to survive as a country against Japan and Germany. He was right.
But, either way, 2500 men mostly very young died that day and that is sad but not as sad as the about 100 million people that died worldwide during this war with 20 million people dying just in Russia alone mostly from starvation and freezing to death.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
