IF you are in Firefox go up to where it says "History" along the top of your browser. Then click "History". You can then either click on "show All History" or "Clear History". IN this case to easily delete cookies and other things slowing down your computer that most of us have no use for whatever, you can delete all history because this is the easiest way to also delete cookies. When you click on "Clear History"a screen comes up that says:
Browsing and download history
form and search history
cookies
active logins
offline website data
site preferences
So, make sure you don't delete anything you want to have working. For example, where it says "Active Logins" that means if you are logged into anywhere online this will unlog you so you will have to log in again.
So, think about what you want and don't want to keep before you do this. Because once it's gone is gone pretty much unless you are a computer security expert with special tools.
From my point of view it's just about keeping my computer as fast as possible for whatever I'm doing more than anything else. And nothing slows down your computers like cookies which are of no use to me whatsoever.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
