India and Iran actually are worse than Beijing regarding Air pollution. 7 million people are presently dying of air pollution each year. Under Trump with no EPA or Energy department this likely could rise significantly. So, just electing Trump likely will cause the deaths of millions worldwide even if they won't be attributed to his presidency still they will be dead.
Generally speaking, Trump's presidency likely will be one of the worst things related to deaths worldwide that we have seen in a very long time except for the wars caused by the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. Though we have reduced the number of events like 9-11 here in the U.S. our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan helped cause presently ISIS and what is happening now in Syria. So, though we saved ourselves we sort of have destroyed the world in so doing. IF you look at what has happened to the Middle east and Europe none of this would have happened if Saddam Hussein and Qaddhafi were still in place in that they would have killed ISIS and Al Qaeda and things would be like they were in the 1990s still now likely.
I have seen the air pollution coming across the ocean from Beijing to Seoul, Korea. So, I haven't seen it as bad as Beijing but Seoul gets pretty bad from air coming from Beijing on the prevailing winds. I also grew up in Los Angeles in the 1950s where if I went swimming in a chlorinated pool it would be like someone sticking a knife into my chest every single breath I breathed in then.
Where I live now is some of the cleanest air on earth which is northern California on the coast which is why so many want to live here. From about Santa Barbara north all the way into Canada and Alaska is some of the cleanest air on earth because the air is filtered and cleaned as it travels across the pacific ocean by winds and rain at every point. So, if you are affluent enough to live where the air is clean this might be a good idea so you don't die of lung illnesses before your time worldwide.
So, most of this pollution from China and Asia winds up in the ocean or at the bottom of the sea between Asia and the Western United States and Canada.
By the way the worst polluted city in the U.S. didn't even crack the top 1000 polluted cities on earth. So, you can see why over 7 million are dying yearly now from bad air around the world.

And this year's winner is: Zabol, Iran.
Beijing and much of northeastern China are currently shrouded in a smog red alert, causing some factories to shut down, highways to close and airlines to cancel flights. But the World Health Organization ranks the world's cities based on air pollution, and the worst Chinese city, Xingtai, only ranks ninth in the 2016 list.
WHO's ranking, released in May, is based on the amount of PM 2.5 – particle matter smaller than 2.5 microns in diameter common to dust, soot and smoke. PM 2.5 is nasty because it can get stuck in the lungs and cause or aggravate asthma and other long-term health problems.
WHO guidelines call for no more than 10 micrograms of PM 2.5 per cubic meter of air. Dusty Zabol averages a whopping 217. Other cities cracking the dubious list's top five include Gwalior, India, at 176, Allahabad, India at 170, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at 156 and Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia at 152.
Beijing suffered Monday with levels hovering above 200; other Chinese cities have pushed close to 1,000 in recent days.
The tide can be turned with effort. The 2015 most-polluted city, New Delhi, slid to 11 in 2016 thanks a crackdown that included bans on the most polluting cars and trucks and fines for for burning trash.
Breathe easier, America. The worst U.S. city didn't crack WHO's top 1,000. Visalia, Calif., checked in at 1,080.
