Disable AutoComplete for Passwords

You really don't want a computer to autocomplete your passwords. You want to do it manually each time. Otherwise a hacker can easily get your passwords if you use autocomplete for passwords anywhere. I used to let autocomplete passwords until I realized how insecure and how vulnerable my computers and smartphones were when I did this. Now if I use passwords I always manually enter them. And if it asks (do you want us to remember your passwords( I either say NO or I just delete the window (one or the other). this increases your security so one day you don't find your bank accounts all empty and your computer completely destroyed and unusable.

Also, I have stopped ever doing any banking online. This way the bank itself will be liable to me if anything goes wrong. If your home passwords are hacked you lose everything. The bank is not liable at all regarding your home bank passwords if a hacker gets them.

Also, like in a previous article don't ever do any banking regarding your phone ever. This is the easiest way for hackers

to steal all your money. However, if you are conducting business

by taking credit cards through your phone from clients as long as your personal account is not involved I see the usefulness of this. But, even then a business account could also be easily hacked and drained so it is good for you to be aware of this too, even though I have friends who are musicians who use the credit card app and device on an Iphone when they sell their CDs at concerts. So, learning to be cautious to protect yourselves as much as possible from financial harm helps keep your life on more of an even keel at least financially speaking.

Disable AutoComplete for Passwords

AutoComplete not only makes it easier for you to automatically logon to secure sites - it also makes it easier for Trojans and hackers to gain access to your personal data and logon credentials.
Here's how to clear the sensitive data, such as passwordsl stored by AutoComplete and how to disable the feature to protect yourself from compromise. Here's how to turn on or off password saving:
  1. In Internet Explorer, select the Tools button , and then select Internet options.
  2. On the Content tab, under AutoComplete, select Settings.
  3. Select the User names and passwords on forms check box, and then select OK.
