Why understanding Kurzweil's graph towards a Technological Singularity peak is important

Because the peak signifies that for $1000 you can then buy an Iphone that contains the computing power of literally all brains combined on earth. Imagine if everyone on earth had one of these?

Kurzweil says he thinks this peak is around 2045. However, I think I disagree with this. I think it is now coming much sooner driven by technological advances caused by 9-11 and terrorist attacks all over the world as a war drive causing exponential technology generation on all levels worldwide.
So, understanding that Technology is out of control of any or all humans is what a peak is we are now sort of like a passenger jet just starting to go straight up into the sky with the whole human race on board already in this technological explosion and beginning singularity we are now experiencing.

I think to compare this to what happened to motorized flight we would be now about 1930 in this progress whereas going to the moon might be the singularity peak in reference to where we are going.

However, I don't know what would be "Going to the Moon" in this reference or even if any humans would still be alive to see that by 2030 or 2045.

I only know that Trump and Brexit and Duterte and terrorists in the Middle East are all symptoms of this  Technological singularity which I would say started with the transistor which likely came from Roswell in all that.

So, if you take Roswell as the beginning of the singularity and see where we are now just imagine we are going to be going literally 1000 times faster by the peak. The peak just means humans have completely lost control of technology which may or may not mean humans are even still alive at that point here on earth.

I'm presently thinking the way things are going that the first peak could hit by 2025 to 2035 depending upon what happens on earth during the next 10 years.

For example, it might slow down because of Trump because of what he is doing to the H1B visas, for example. He doesn't have a good relationship at all with Silicon Valley but maybe if they give him enough money that can change I don't know. However, right now Silicon Valley and Trump are sort of enemies because they didn't vote for him
