I Think the Republicans are fighting a losing battle trying to come up with Plan B for healthcare

The reason I think this is because Republicans have never done healthcare successfully. This is just never been their issue. Look back in history who did Social Security? Who did Medicare? Who did unemployment compensation? None of these social welfare types of programs we're done by Republicans ever. They were always done by Democrats. This is not what Republicans are interested in. This is not what they do. Because of all these reasons and more it is sort of ridiculous to try to act like they're suddenly a social welfare party which they have never been. They have never been advocates of human rights particularly. This is an almost exclusively democratic thing to champion human rights. And a part of human rights is social welfare. The right to have medical care  and the right to not go into bankruptcy because you get ill. So because of all these things and more I think it is sort of ridiculous the the Republicans to try to come up with a plan B for something they were never good at ever in the first place.

Mostly I think it's just about being angry the Democrats once again created the social welfare program in any way shape or form. Because once you give people the human right to stay alive and not to die by giving them decent healthcare they will stay alive and not just go bankrupt and died the first time to get sick.

And for the richest Republicans the more likely poor people and middle-class people are going to go bankrupt or die or both just means they can buy the possessions of those people at a discount and that's all it means.

Unless people are very white, Christian, rich, well educated and all the rest they likely have no business being in the Republican party in the first place.
