No matter what Republicans do now they are completely screwed. The reason for this is either they betray the American people or they betray Conservative Republicans who are the base of the Republican party.
So, this is a lose lose situation for Republicans everywhere.
This is what all republicans face nationwide who are elected officials regarding the repeal and replace bill.
If I look at what is happening right now enough Republicans have decided their loyalty to the America people is higher than their loyalty to the base.
So, likely this means the bill will fail as of now.
This way it might be more likely they will be re-elected by ALL the American people in 2018.
However, the Executive order by Trump to completely gut the teeth of Obamacare might bring increasing wrath of Most Republicans and ALL Democratic voters against them in 2018 even if Obamacare is left in place without any teeth at all.
