Since I tend also to be a universalist in my personal philosophy in that I do not reject peaceful religions that don't cause people to kill people who are not in their religions.
So, in this sense I believe that whatever allows people not to kill themselves or each other tends to be something useful in some way to mankind's future.
Once I said to my sister in law that "There are two kinds of people in this world, those who survive and those who don't"
Being a psychologist she said to me, "I think there is only one kind of person in this world, those who survive."
I agreed with her.
So, my philosophy is: "If you are dead you really can't help your family and friends much here on earth."
So, the object therefore is to stay alive.
And so I see all religions and philosophies that help people stay alive and not commit suicide or murder as being useful to humanity.
Whereas I see religions who advocate killing people or themselves as not being useful to mankind and so mankind should find ways to eliminate these religions (or at least the adherents of these religions who wish to kill themselves or others. I do not wish anyone dead but one has to find ways to protect the defenseless from harm.
This is one reason why I was attracted to Tibetan Buddhism because of the 49,000 correct paths of Buddhism which includes all peaceful religions practices on earth.
The whole point of Buddhism is to learn compassion for yourself and all beings in the past, present and future.
When you actually do this you can then be given the power to help everyone which naturally comes when you are kind all the time to yourself and all beings in the past, present and future of the whole universe.
All life on earth and beyond watches you all the time and when you demonstrate kindness towards yourself and all beings life sees you as a leader of life. At this point life gives you responsibilities and powers to help life because you are ready for it.
This all happens naturally in life, nothing is forced, it just happens naturally in your lives.
